Today, while saving some new photo in my hard drive, I found these pictures taken last year to the beautiful model Anna Cernohorska, and I realized I have not published them! So here I am, making amends, and bringing you to some of the most elegant streets in London. I hope you’ll enjoy it!
It is now three years since I met Neil, quite soon after moving to Oxford. It was one of my first models here in England, and he helped me so much with getting confidence in myself and in the work I am doing. I was then happy to photograph him again, after a long time, this spring. Here are some of the photos we took in his apartment, under the supervision of his playful snake Patrick (see the picture below!).
“A garden to walk in and immensity to dream in – what more could he ask? A few flowers at his feet and above him the stars.” Victor Hugo, Les Misérables From a visit to the Botanic gardens of Oxford with my Lomo Instant.
No, this is not a dream: the best season of the year has finally started, with lots of interesting events and great people to photograph. I could not be more happy! Only a few weeks ago, I had the pleasure to work with Asuka, a lovely japanese girl and a very talented student who successfully graduated from the Oxford University. Here are a few photos I took to her and her husband Sigfrid in a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Congratulations again, and “ad maiora”, as ancient romans used to say!
I won’t start this blog post saying how much friendship is important, and how redeeming, especially for those who live far from their country, and have all their best friends miles away from them. The three girls I photographed in a spring sunny morning belong to that group of friends separated by land and sea; but what’s nice of them is that they always find the time to be together, despite the distance (Italy-England). This photo shoot is a proof of their bond, and the evident empathy of their common memories and future wishes.
Thanks to Livia, Stefania and Virginia for sharing this with me!
“What I want is to be needed. What I need is to be indispensable to somebody. Who I need is somebody that will eat up all my free time, my ego, my attention. Somebody addicted to me. A mutual addiction.” Chuck Palahniuk

Emma and Jack got married last May! True emotions directed the day, a typical cloudy English day. They had a small but perfect ceremony in an old church of Deddington – Oxfordshire – with the family and a few friends, followed by a reception in the gorgeous Jack’s parents house. I have to say again that I really enjoy intimate weddings, because of the family atmosphere you can feel, because of the love, the excitement that people show only to those they really care of. All it is so real that I find myself emotioned as a guest! Photographs are simply the result of that… Congratulations Emma and Jack!
May is one of my favorite months: summer is close (usually also my holidays), and the spring shows the world its best side. So it is very exciting for me to photograph weddings on this time. One of the two I worked on this year was Laura and Kate civil partnership. I first met them last winter and I immediately felt I would have been honored to work at their wedding. It was an intimate but happy one. Joy, tears, laughs were there to enrich every moment. Looking back at the photos, I can still feel the emotions, that’s why I find making a selection really hard! What I hope, though, is that you’ll put a smile on your face at the end of this post!
